CASE MANAGEMENT & COUNSELING
SIPA’s Case Management and Counseling programs focus on mental health and family preservation. Qualified, trained case managers evaluate each individual’s or family’s needs and determine what form of help may best resolve the issue at hand. SIPA provides a comprehensive approach to problems, offering individual and group counseling, mentoring, and peer support, as well as workshops for parents and youth.

Youth issues are a high priority in the community. Case managers work with several local schools to provide help to at-risk youth who are performing below academic standards and are experiencing behavioral problems in school and at home. In addition, case managers support the parents of these youth by providing them with parenting classes and other resources that will benefit the family.

Counseling and workshops are also available for newly arrived immigrants who may need the assistance of a support group or who may require help with issues such as naturalization and citizenship procedures.
