HISTORIC FILIPINOTOWN
Recognizing the area’s rich history of Pilipino presence, on August 2, 2002, a 2.1-square-mile district in Los Angeles’ Temple-Beverly corridor was officially designated as “Historic Filipinotown.” The district is bordered on the west by Hoover Street, on the east by Glendale, on the north by the 101 Freeway, and on the south by Beverly Boulevard.
